For parents

A for AppleEnglish

Recognising all 26 English letters and the sound each one starts, with a picture for every letter.

Pre-school phonics — the alphabet chart, spoken aloud.

अ से अनारHindi

The eleven Hindi स्वर (vowels), heard aloud and matched to a picture.

NCF Foundational Stage — emergent literacy. ऋ and अः come later.

Count with MeMaths

Counting up to 10 one object at a time, and telling which of two groups has more.

Joyful Mathematics Ch 1 ("Finding the Furry Cat!") and Ch 3 ("Mango Treat").

My Body & My HomeEVS

Naming the parts of your body, the people in your family, and the things around your house — in Hindi and English.

EVS. CBSE lists EVS at Class 1 but sets no textbook, so this follows the topic set schools actually use: Our Body, My Family, Our House.

Fruits, Vegetables & AnimalsGeneral Knowledge

Recognising and naming everyday fruits, vegetables, animals and birds in both languages.

General Knowledge. There is no CBSE GK syllabus — schools set their own — so this covers the identification work common to all of them.

ColoursArt & Craft

The nine colour names, and what we draw and paint with.

Art & Craft. Shapes are deliberately left to Maths, where Joyful Mathematics Ch 2 covers them.

Every Day or Sometimes?Health

Sorting habits into the things we do every day and the treats we have sometimes.

Health & Physical Education. Framed as every-day vs sometimes rather than good vs bad — a laddoo is not a bad habit, and a child should not be told it is.

RhymesRhymes

Five nursery rhymes with their tunes, in Hindi and English, with the words lighting up as the music plays.

The tune is played note by note; the words are spoken, not sung. Every lyric's source is shown — public domain, traditional folk, or written for us.

About the voice

Every game reads its prompts aloud using the voice already built into your browser or phone — nothing to install. Tap the picture or letter at the top of a game to hear it again.

If your device has no Hindi voice installed, the speaker icon simply won't appear. Every question is still shown on screen — the letter, the picture and the word are always visible — so the games work either way.

You can silence all sound, voice included, with the speaker button in the top-right of any game.
